Research Interests:

Agatha Christie and queer theory.  I am interested in masquerade, and in approaching  golden age detective writers from a camp perspective.  In the future, I would like to carry out projects related to Gladys Mitchell and Dorothy Bowers.

PhD Supervision:

I am a researcher at the university of Exeter.  My PhD thesis is "Queering the Outcast in Agatha Christie, 1920-1950" (AHRC-funded).  My supervisors are Dr. Vike Plock (English) and Prof. Lisa Downing (Modern Languages)
